How would I go about it? A possible move is in discussion for the future. Were not sure yet but want to know ahead of time. I assume we could consolidate into a lesser amount of tubs for the ride. Assuming it would be hot outside, do we need cold packs? How would we attach them to the tubs or just put them near it? If we attach to the tub, do we put something between the tub and pack? Please give some answers.

Depends on how far away your moving. I would put them in their own deli cup ( just like shipping) and put them in a larhe styrofoam cooler with a 48 hour ice pack depending on the weather and I would keep one extra to replace it if necessary. Keep the cooler out of sunlight and run the ac and you should be good

The possible move would be about a day and a half car ride. Nothing is definite yet, if it happens it will be spur of the moment. I can tell you why via text but rather not post it here.

LOL!! I can think of several reasons why this would happen, none of them legal! :policeman: Sounds kinda interesting!

I'm kidding of course.

Nothing illegal. I guess I don't care who knows. My girlfriend and I are currently living with my mothers ex husband. He is an alcoholic who recently relapsed and is violent. If things get too bad we will be moving back to Illinois where my girlfriend is originally from.

Also, unforunately my car has no ac. The local shop recommended packaging them in deli cups inside of a Styrofoam cooler, and keeping a frozen waterbottle wrapped in a towel handy to keep temps down on the ride when needed.

Think of how things would be packed up to do a show that involved a distance travel. Each gecko in an appropriate sized and labeled deli cup. Get these together now so you'll be ready. A styrofoam (heavy duty if you can find one) cooler large enough to put all in one container, and keep out of direct sun in the car. Don't feed the day you pack them up or you'll have a lot of poop to deal with during the trip. Pack up a tub of immediate supplies such as paper towel, water spray bottle, a stack of tubs to put geckos in and enough food for two feedings after arrival, a wired length of heat tape for temporary use until all are properly housed. About every 8 hours, open the cooler for air exchange. Feed them up good or several days ahead of time because they'll be too stressed to want to eat during the trip. They'll have a chance to digest while still home and poop so they don't end up traveling in excrement. If you stop for the night at a hotel, take them in the room and leave the cooler open overnight, mist a little inside each deli so they can drink. Have a small container ready in case you need to pull out a gecko to clean poop. They'll be stressed, so it's best to keep any handling to a minimum.

No AC isn't that big of a deal this time of year since you'll be headed north and it's going to be cooler at higher elevations in GA, ect. Especially if you don't leave in the heat of the day. You will want to secure the cooler lid to keep the wind from shifting it tho.

its not that hot out in Ga no more Im in Atlanta and its been httest in the low 80s for two weeks now. Plus its getting closer to fall so the deli cup idea should work. I came form florida to Atlanta with leo to visit my Gf and the trip didnt effect him at all so you should be fine.
