Its getting colder so I'm moving to my 2 leopard geckos to a smaller tank to help maintain temperatures. And the one their currently in has reptile carpet (witch is fitted for that tank) i cant move it over to the other viv because its a bow front. And that tank has reptile bark in it. Would that be fine to use for them?

I would warn against using any loose substrate. my only recommendation for the substrate would be paper towel as the geckos don't ingest it, its cheap, and easily disposable. hope this helps out!

for a leopard gecko, the Floor (not ambient) temperature on the warm side of the tank should be 85-94 degrees, and the cool side temps should be 75-80 degrees. and that's a good idea for a present btw!
