I will be moving in August. My gecko is coming with me. But I am not sure how to transport her. Should I get a smaller container to put her in so she doesn't get too stressed out?
It's a 3 hour drive to where I am going in the hottest part of the year. The car has air conditioner but I'm worried about her belly heat and how long she can go without it.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I would put her in a smaller container for the drive. Maybe a delli cup with lid and airholes. If your worried about the belly heat you can get a heat pack. I don't think you need to worry about the heat pack. I have gone alot longer transporting leopard geckos without belly heat and they are nice and healthy.

I've been worrying about the same things. I'm moving next week, and have an overnight stop before I get to my new place. I plan on putting them in their own tupperware type containers with airholes. I'll mist them at night and give them a water bowl. They should be fine, as leos are shippped overnight without belly heat or food/water.

If anyone has any other suggestions, though, they are greatly appreciated. :)

Nad just out of curiousity, those of you who vend, what do you do if you vend at a show that requires an overnight stay?

Thanks!
