Ms het blizz X Ms Blizz???

allright here is my personal progect for next year I have a Male High Yellow and a juvenil Female Mack Snow Blizzard.( i'll only cross her next year 2010 cause for now she's not ready), i'll ask you guy's this question because i like to know earlyer the things that could go wrong so that i can correct them before they happen..

so in this first cross i will get if i'm not wrong:

HY X Ms blizz

25% - normal
25% - normal het blizz
25% - mack
25% - mack het blizz

so from this possibilities my goal e to keep only 1 gecko from this hatch one mack het blizz male.

till here no problem i'll only expect to be lucky when chossing my mack to get the mack het blizz, because there is no possible way to tell by his apearence that he has or has not the blizz (het) gene on him, at least that i know of

if there is any way i'll be thankfull for you to explain me how


then for the 2011 breeding i'll cross this mack het blizz to my female mack blizz
so with this cross if i'm not wrong again i'll get:

Mack het blizz X mack blizz :

25% blizzard
50% mack blizzard
25% super mack blizzard

correct me here if i'm wrong (thanks)

now my main problem on this ones...

is to tell them apart how the hell can i identify a blizz from a mack blizz and from a super mack blizz

- i've been searching the blizz has hatch can show a yellowish skin and the eyes are not black 100% (but this yellowish color does not appear in 100% of them , and the eyes can be 100% black ocasionally),

- mack blizz are white and have less then 100% of black eyes ( but again this is not 100% sure because there are mack blizz that have 100% black eyes :S)

- and super mack blizz are wihte with a dorsal stripe and solid black eyes.

this is information from my rechearch but i'm still a little )BIG) confused on this ones and i do not know yet how can i be sure of what they will be :S

can you guy's help me here thanks a lot .


i know it's a long time till i get there but better know earlyer, than mess things arround

please if you can show pics of them (blizzard, mack blizzard, and super mack blizzard has hatchling and adults) thanks again

i'll post here a foto of the mack blizz that i am talking about it apears to me that she is very similar to a descrition of a super mack snow blizzard, she is for shure a mack snow blizzard with 100% black eyes.

All of the babies from you first pairing will be het Blizzard... MS het Blizzard x MS Blizzard will give you:

12.5% Normal het Blizzard
12.5% Blizzard
25% MS het Blizzard
25% MS Blizzard
12.5% SS het Blizzard
12.5% SS Blizzard

You have a pretty good idea what to look for... If you're wondering if yours is a SS Blizzard I can't help... Never hatched any...
