I suppose it is a w&y because it comes from breeding w&y to w&y

I have to wait and see the evolution and the other hatchlings to compare them too...

Ms and sms blizzard hatch black, not white like this one and it is not an albino...

Looks W&Y to me! It's a lot lighter them a normal blizzard, looks like some nice high white sides as well! More pics of the gecko would help!

Is it 1 copy or 2 copy w/y? Cause most are 1 copy right? If this is true then
1 copy w/y x 1 copy w/y does not equal 100% w/y

http://www.reptilecalculator.com/leopard-gecko-morph-calculator/

I think this is a morph that unless it does some funky w/y thing will have to be test bred to prove the genetics.

Awesome start! :)
I was told that the gene does not follow the "1 copy, 2 copy" gene rules. Instead, it acts in a dominant manner in that W&Y x W&Y= W&Y and W&Y x non-W&Y= 50% chance of W&Y. At least that was how it was described to me...that if the gene is there then it is there and if it's absent, it's absent. I was confused at first when I looked at the same reptile calculator. I'm breeding one with a couple different geckos that should create pretty visually apparent W&Ys or non-W&Ys so that I can easily visualize whether or not they carry the gene...it'll be a couple months before I'll have any hatchlings from that group. Should have some hatchlings from a W&YxRAPTOR pairing pretty soon though :)

We can see the white side on the second pic :)

The only way to be sure it is a w&y is to "test breed" it next year, but i think there are many chances it is!!!
