Ok, well hello everyone. I just wanted to show off what me, my 7 year old and my wife put together for his (my son's) Leo. It will be going in a 10gal aquarium and home to one gecko for now. Enjoy.

Ok here is the video. When the video reaches 4:45 you can fast forward to 6:30 cause all it does is sit in the corner on the warm side. It has been in the cool hide since 3 this evening. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, we hope to get another some time in the next month or so. Waiting on some Dubia Roaches to show up, so we can have a good cheap food source.

This was a neat video to wake up to this morning. Please tell your wife and son that they did an excellent job!

I run a small dubia colony and love it, so good luck with the roaches.

When you get your next gecko, please be sure to follow proper quarantine procedure to protect your current one. A lot of people forget about that, but it pays to be cautious.

Not doing much, just wondering around. He gets a drink then goes back to check out dinner, Dubia Roaches.....yum. Actually, all he/she was doing was licking the bottom of the food bowl getting some calcium, he/she has been eating 4 (1/4") dubia the past 3 nights...tonight nothing. I checked back this morning and one outta 2 is still in there. I am thinking it is still full. Enjoy

Used this Styrofoam. Then I used a utility knife, the kind with the breakable sections. When I was cutting it I used a slight sawing motion. Makes going around corners easier and gives a nice smooth finish.

If you want a jagged finish, cut like you normally would then just tear little sections off. It is time consuming, but it is so worth it, to get what you want and not break the bank doing it.

Plus you can scale it to your VIV, the most important thing is to let all the grout, sealer and paint fully dry before putting it in the VIV and especially if you have removable sections. Some of mine stuck together and I had to touch them up and reseal.
