I just wanted to show off my 3 Leos. :) I got my first two, Cheech and Chong approximately 2 months ago. They were and still are cage mates from a pet store.

Cheech is my female. She is about 6" now. Not sure of her exact age since she is a pet store adoption. Nice and healthy, and a good feeder. Very curious, but can be skittish and when frightened runs to Cheech to be her protector. Not positive on her morph. I'm still researching it. Thinking maybe a Normal? Possibly a Jungle? She does have just a touch of a carrot tail. (I'm still learning my morphs as I'm still a novice, so any input is appreciated.)

Chong is my male. I got him when I got Cheech. He is about 7.5" long and I believe to be a Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail. He is pretty laid back and lazy, except when it comes to food. Then he has some get up and go. He likes to be held and will just relax on you. Not a lot fazes him. I noticed taking his pictures today he has some shed skin stuck on one of his toes... Any suggestions to help get that off before it cuts off circulation? (Edit: I gave him a good warm water soak and got the skin off of his toe.)

Chima is my newest addition. She is currently doing her time in quarantine then I will try to integrate her into Cheech & Chong's tank (40 gallon breeder). I've been told she is a Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy, but doesn't have much of a carrot tail. She is new enough that I'm still feeling out her personality. I think she will be my runner. She is sweet and docile, not a mean bone in her body that I've seen, but she doesn't want to stay still. Not in an "I'm exploring" way, but more of an "I must always be moving way". If a LG can have OCD I would say she'd be a likely candidate. (ha)

Those are my babies for now. I have a feeling that I will have more in the future. Ha!

You can try some coconut oil to help with shedding if warm soaks are not enough.

Very cute geckos. Just be careful with having a male with the females. They will breed and you're uncertain on genetics.

Thank you. :)

I was able to get it off with a 10 minute 90F water soak. I will keep the coconut oil in mind if I come across a tougher situation. :)

You can also ass a hide with a little moist sphagnum moss in it. The extra humidity from the moss will help loosen any skin when they are shedding.

Thanks. I just changed their moist hides a couple days ago and they seem to like it a lot more. I changed from moss to coconut fiber. They were using it before, but only occasionally . Now I find them both in it often. Geckos have such funny little personalities. :)

I was able to find out the breeder the pet store got my LGs from, after doing a little research I got in touch and have been communicating with her. I now know their genetic backgrounds! Yay! [emoji2]
