I wanna say Angie could be about 5 months by now. I got her from Bhb Reptiles because years ago I've watched a YouTube channel called AnimalBytesTV and they sell their cute baby geckos a lot cheaper than any other place I've been to (and I trust them). She started out super shy and a bit flighty, maybe just 2 and a half months old at the time. I researched a ton about leopard geckos before I got her and took about a year to think about getting one. I'm so happy about this choice and I'm totally lucky to have such a cute girl!
I recently got her an 18 gallon tank. Her first two days consisted of her trying to find ways to climb walls and of course she found this small section of the tank to actually climb up.
Almost a week ago I let Angie check out a bookshelf.
I think she likes my camera holder.
A couple of days ago I "gecko proofed" my room and let her run around the floor because she looked like she wanted to check out the ground every time I held her.
Yeah, she got pretty scared. I was suddenly very big to her (even though she'd run to me and try to hide under me) and she probably felt very exposed.
I'd do more fun things with her but she's definitely in her Winterly mode right now. Basking on rocks, sleeping everywhere, all that fun stuff. Always happy for some mealworms though. She has this silly thing about her where she will run up to my mom and I hoping we got some food for her. I've been cutting back on it though; she's plenty healthy now and I don't want her starting to get "overweight" haha!
