i got a mack snow / emerine baby about a month ago. she was eating 3 meal worms a night and i ran out of food for 4 days and now she barely eats. she's been getting skinny, & i tried too widen her variety; but i feel like nothing is working. i even put her in a warm bath so if she was constipated; she'd go too the restroom. what can i do too help her! i love my gecko, & i don't want too see her die :(

Have you noticed her losing weight drastically? If not no worries. Sometimes my geckos just take random breaks off feeding during the season cool down and just turn around and eat less poop less spring rolls around and they are back to eating machines. Monitor the geckos weight and shape. normally i become concerned when they arent active and look very slugish.

have you tried a few different feeders to stimulate a better feeding response. I got one gecko in my entire collection that just refuses to eat dubia roaches shes deathly afraid of them asnd will hide when i feed them. so just for her i normally feed super worms once a week so that i know she eats. its month months since i seen her actually eat but she looks fine. I stopped watching if each gecko eats or not so it doesnt drive me crazy. I feed and walk away and if i notice a weight loss then start to give more attention.

keep us posted.

You mentioned green poop. Is it solid or runny?

I suggest you read a few care sheets. Raise the temp to 90-95 on the hot side.
Your gecko also needs Calcium w/D, Calcium without D, Multivitamins.

Green runny poop is an indication of illness. Your gecko needs to see a qualified reptile vet for the proper diagnosis and treatment program. Also, as Reps4life mentioned, your temps need to be raised and a supplement schedule added, along with gut loading feeders, to maintain health.

she only used to eat 3 mealworms a night? are we talking regular mealworms? Maybe my gecko was greedy when she was a baby, but while she was growing she would eat sometimes 25 mealworms a night, she slowed down a lot as she became an adult, but she would eat so much as a baby. Even now sometimes we have witnessed her pig out and eat alot. And I agree with everyone else about the supplements. My gecko gets her worms dusted with a multi vitamin and she has a seperate bowl in her tank for the calcium. Another possibility is she could be stressed out? If you hold her everyday and she is only a month and a half it might be overwhelming. Just my opinion though. Just to be on the safe side i would take a poop sample to the vet and have it tested for parasites.
