he's a Diablo Blanco! he was paired up with a female blazing blizzard and i caught this pic of them last night. when i was cleaning out their tub today and spraying their hide, i noticed he had two solid red eyes. i'll post pics later but here is the pic from yesterday. he's the one at the bottom, ummm cleaning off

Blizzards can exhibit solid or snake eyes without the presence of the Eclipse gene, the solid eyes do not necessarily make him a DB.

Sorry dude. :D Test breeding to an Eclipse will give you the answer. There isn't really any way to tell visually because the Blizzard masks the white nose that is the other major feature of an Eclipse.

Not exactly. My results point toward the original description being incorrect, Abyssinians appear to be a variant form of Eclipse. The babies will be very light "normals", most likely with a jungle or reverse stripe pattern that later hypos out into a more Patternless Stripe type appearance, and may also develop stripes. The babies are essentially "het RAPTOR", but with the Abyssinian form of Eclipse.

You can see some fairly recent photos in my hatchling update thread.
