my betta,, is it ill

i bought a beautiful red betta and when i got home i noticed he had a white patch on his head an his fins are completely red apart from one pinky/white patch at the bottom,, is this just a pattern/blemish or is it some form of disease please help thanku

A picture would be helpful, if it is indeed a white spot, you have found out your disease right there, its a desease called white spot, very easy to treat go to your local aquatics shop they should have a remedy there, if it is like a gradual spot not pure white in red, then I would be inclined to say it was a pattern, as for the fin the same thing applies, if in doubt get it looked at by somone at a private shop that has half a chance of knowing what they are looking at, but try and get some pictures up and im sure some of us will do the best we can to help you.

the white bits are not small theres only one aswell, its about the same size as a coffee granule maybe a bit bigger, i thought white spot was like a collection of tiny white spots,, but the patch is not pure white, sorry but it wont let me upload pipcs for some reaso :/
