My Blue Tegu

I got this Blue Tegu about a month ago for one of my girlfriends Birthday presents. (Yes she wanted it, it wasn't me buying it for me haha) He's starting to show some light hues of blue but this pic is from when I first got him and he was still in quarantine. He's still in quarantine but his fecal was clean so he's got a far more elaborate cage.

Thanks you two! He/she is adorable, when you're not trying to hold his skittish little butt.

And them getting as big as they do is why I agree'd to getting him. I miss my Savannah, and there's nothing better than a 3-4 ft lizard that is puppy dog tame. He needs to get a bit bigger before I work on the taming b/c he's so skittish that it took me 10 minutes to transfer him to his new cage. :-/

you think that's bad? It took me 40 mins to move my columbian gold tegu. That was fun. She's not a mild tempered lizard, that's for sure
