Not sure where i should of posted this thread because she has no health problems i would think so. well it's basically as the title says, i have never in like 4 months seen her drink water from her bowl but neither have i seen some of my other leo's do it but i can easily notice if they are drinking water by the amount of water that's in there every time i change the water. The amount of water in the bowl stays the same for her which i would think it would result in pretty yellowish looking pee in the stool i would imagine? (tell me if im wrong please) lately, her stool has been very yellow and slimy im pretty concerned, she started her season about 3 weeks about and laid her first clutch last week but she's still eating but just not taking in water at all i have been misting her tub everyday so she can lick the water off but the stool still looks yellow and slimy. If anyone can help me out here that would be great. She's about 63 grams or more now and hasn't lost weight at all only after she layed her eggs she lost like 8 or 10 grams but she gained it back in a couple of days and i use a shallow water dish so she can easily drink out from it.

I'll post a pic soon.

Hi...you said
i have been misting her tub everyday so she can lick the water off

Why would she need to get it from the bowl?
It's less trouble this way.
Hand feed....why should she hunt for food.
It's less trouble this way.

I'm not a big believer in misting their whole
living area.(had 1 problem)...
Do the humid hide only.
I have concerns with respiratory problems
with a combination of too much forced humidity
on them and possible cool temperatures.

If you want to see her drink, give her a short,
mildly warn soak. (2-3 mins.)
She will drink from the bath water and help
her stay hydrated.

You Said

Sounds pretty good here....many stop eating.

You Said
she has no health problems

But then
lately, her stool has been very yellow and slimy im pretty concerned.

As you should be....this needs monitored probably
every day or two as she is still eating.
Doesn't have to be a worry but should be
checked on. Most would probably say do a Vet
trip for a stool exam. And probably you should take their advice.
Myself, I would try to do the vets job with internet help.
Get different food...at least a different supplier.
Not sure what water you use but consider a change.
Keep good floor temperatures.
Don't mist the tub.
Try the soak every 2nd or 3rd day.
Offer variety diet.

All the best. Take care. HJ

Thanks for the response. First i would like to say and i forgot to mention i don't spray the whole enclosure with water i only spray a section of it usually where she stays mostly but she does have a humid hide but she only went in there to lay her eggs, i rarely see her go in (she's mostly in the hot side). I have been giving her a variety of food like super's and crickets dusted of course from reputable people that breed them, i guess i will give her mealworms to next time. Also the temps on the hot side is around 92 and the cool side is around 78.

HJ, nice "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" quote.

...And all the boards did shrink; Water, water, everywhere...nor any drop to drink. I love that poem.

TheInfidel, best of luck...and I agree with HJ.
