My finished rack

ok guys here is the finished rack that our shop teacher and his students built for me. Let me know what you guys think.

Good deal!!! I would however up those temps into the 90s though :) I keep my rack at 95*F and mine are doing fantastic!

Heather, Thank you for your posts. It is actually fluctuating between 88 -92. I watched it for about 4 hours last night. I do not have the leos in there yet as I wanted to get the temps right first. Again thanks

No problem at all! I've been through it all with the rack I built, so any help I can give you I will. What are you using to control the temps?

Oh...and as far as securing the heat tape to the wood, Home Depot carries a tape. It's called Flex Fix and resistant to heat. That will allow you to slide the tubs over the tape without risking any damage :) It's not very expensive either, and a rather large roll...I didn't even use half of it to do my whole rack. Here is a picture :

How much did you pay for the roll of Flex Fix? Im going to have to pick up some of that. Thanks.

I honestly cannot remember, but I think it was less than $10 for a roll of it. I used less than half the roll, and I have a HUGE rack system (I've learned not to say the words "huge rack" on this forum lol)

haha....All I can say about the "Huge Rack" thing is that I know how it feels!:main_yes::main_thumbsup: I will have to pick up some of that Flex Fix for the rack system that my DH is working on.Thanks so much.
