So I have this big fancy camera but dont even know how to use it properly yet. LOL (Rebel XT)
I just took all my shots on auto...a mix of profile preset and manual (so the flash wouldn't come on in the darker shade shots). But I didn't adjust any settings in the manual mode.
Shooting an active leopard gecko is HARD. She would NOT sit still. Not a very good model, unless she was just trying to show me all of her poses and various sides. haha
I noticed how the natural sunlight really brings out her pretty colors. Her tan spots almost look lavendar-ish. Very pretty.
Okay - so here again is Pele, my female 11 month old or so, tremper albino.....
First photo: Full sun she did NOT like that. Someone had to cup their hands above her head (out of the shot) so that she'd even open her eyes.....
Second photo - I put her in the shade of a tree for more natural lighting and so she'd open her eyes. No such luck. She kept squinting or would open one eye and close the other....
Third photo - not too bad, I actually caught her with her eyes open and not moving around too much:
Fourth photo - oops just got the backside of her. She was wanting exercise today I guess!
Fifth photo - again eyes squinting, I guess those albino eyes dont even like the shade:
Sixth photo - One of the better shots...looks like she's on the hunt!
and seventh and final photo (that was worthy of showing, the rest she was running from me!)
