My first baby YAY

so after the first 2 sets of eggs failing (temp and humid problems) my one egg from the last set hatched.


WOW didnt relize they were that tiny but so dam cute.



Already put him in a 2.5 gallon tank with paper towels and a water dish and will put in small worms.


is there anything else i should do ?? how long untill i should see it eat 48 hours?


Also my female is a hypo orange carrot tail and the male is a "mack" yet they baby looks like a plain striped lepard do they kinda change patterns as they grow? now to concerned just thought id ask

A tang and Mack cross sounds like the begining of a creamsicle to me. They will change alot as they shed. I didn't start feeding my hatchlings untill the 3rd day and I fed them 4 small mealworms each a day. Post some pics when you can.

Congrats! They are very cute as hatchlings!

If the baby looks like a normal (black and yellow stripes), then it's not a Mack. With 1 Mack Snow parent, you will get 50% Mack Snow babies. A Mack Snow hatchling will be black and white striped. This first little one will probably turn more tang with each shed. ;)

Also, if you don't happen to see the little one shed, you will know it has if it has it's first poop. Then it will start eating. :main_yes:
