On a whim, I decided to see if my tremper jungle male Rajah could handle breeding with my obviously egg-full tremper patternless Daria. In a matter of seconds he was.. Well, you know. Daria took it all in stride without a fuss... :D

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera.. But I snapped a quick shot with my phone..

So hopefully we'll have some gorgeous tremper babies on the way, soon!

Do you think I should put him in to breed with her a couple more times? The only thing that worried me is that Rajah was insistent on holding onto her eyelid... I don't want her to get hurt!

If he was successful, which it looks like he was, there's no need. I wouldn't pair them again until she's laid at least three clutches. And if you decide to pair them then, weigh her first to make sure she hasn't lost too much weight. Congrats!

Make sure she has a lay box in her enclosure, and check it pretty regularly (like twice daily) starting in about two to three weeks! :main_yes: If you don't have your incubator set up, now would be a good time. You want to make sure it's ready to go and keeps a steady temp when the eggs come!

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to get my incubator set up tomorrow and pick up some substrate for her to lay in.

I'm so excited!! :D
