Hi everybody I have my firs eggs!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
On October 4 my Patternless female leo laid 2 eggs after being covered by my normal het for albino male, sadly only 1 is fertile (this was determined by candeling) but on a lighter note, she's gravid again and due to lay in the next few days.

I have placed the eggs in moist (not damp) vermiculite and put them in individual deli cups with lids in my poultry incubator, will this work?:main_huh:
The incubator I built especially for this project does not keep it's temperature constant enough:main_angry:

Good luck with the egg. Sadly my MSS female is not ovulating and the rest of mine is still too young but next Year I hopefully will have my first eggs too^^

Congrats on your first eggs. I hope to be having some from my females by mid November. As far as the incubator goes, I recently bought one from lllreptile....but, to me, as long as the incubator you use can stay at a constant temperature and the humidity can be monitored then you should be set.

Ok, that sounds fine then. My female is starting to dig in her laying box again and she shed her skin a week ago so I should have anouther pair of eggs soon! This is all very new to me

So...How did they turn out?? Were they both fertile ?

I'm not so sure that you can "candle" a leopard gecko egg after only a week or two...
