Been told hes 16 weeks not sure if thats correct he looks a lil big for 4 months!
I only got him 3 days ago, he seems friendly enough and he actually walked onto my hand.

What type is he??? Also on hisback where the two spots are looks like very faint beige stripes or band.

Hypo means that there aren't more than 10 spots on gecko body excluding the head and tail. It's very popular morph.

I agree, it's a Hypo, looks exactly like mine! Hypo is short for Hypomelanistic.

Hypomelanism is a genetic condition that reduces melanin (dark pigment) production. Thus, the gecko exhibits a stronger yellowish color with few dark spots, mostly around the head and tail, with very little spotting on the body. Melanin will still be present to a certain degree, unlike albinos which exhibit a total loss of melanin. Hypo geckos that show no spotting on the body are called Super Hypos. But, like what was mentioned above, a gecko can only be eligible for that title if it has fewer than a certain number of spots on its body. Hypo is not a rare morph by any means, but it's still pretty attractive. Hope that helps :) Cute little gecko.
