Hi,
New to the forum and I just purchased my first reptile last week. Just thought I'd share my set up for fun, but also welcome comments and criticism.
The initial idea was just to take care of the basic needs of the gecko at the most simple level. As I go along I can work on making it look more natural.
Setup:
-10g Zilla Critter Cage w/ sliding screen top (will most likely upgrade to a 20L after the leo gets a bit bigger)
-Exo Terra Glow Light w/ 50w night glo bulb
-Exo Terra Sm. UTH
-Paper towel substrate
I've been using a small digital thermometer, but need to order a couple new ones along w/ a good thermostat (looking at the big apple 1000SC). Also going to purchase a digital hygrometer. Anything else I'm missing?
Feeding/Supplements:
-Pinhead to medium sized crickets that are fed rolled oats, as well, fresh fruit and veggies.
-Cricket food and crickets are dusted in Zoomed Reptical w/ d3 and Zoomed Reptivite
-I've also have mealworms, but haven't tried feeding them to the leo yet
