Here it is...

Cross between a bold stripe het Bell and a red-stripe Bell het RADAR. I hope the picture is OK, but it has pink-red eyes. Wouldn't that make this a RADAR? Thanks.

Not unless both the parents are eclipse or het eclipse (RADAR, for bells).
Bells have very dark pinkish/reddish eyes as babies to begin with.

It is a very nice boldstripe bell you have there, though; that's nothing to sneeze at!

Its a little complicated, but I think the bold stripe het Bell is also het eclipse. RADAR was actually what I was going for with this cross. I'm just not sure if a normal Bell could have pink eyes like that in the terrible iPhone shot. My adult Bells do not.

Most stripes when crossed with another stripe will produce eclipse offspring. Red stripe x Boldstripe is the way in which Retribution Reptiles created its RADAR line

Let's see an eye pic

Thank you both. Yes that is precisely what I meant about it being complicated. As a matter of a fact BOTH of these leos happen to come from no other than Ryan at Retribution Reptiles. lol So if this does happen to be RADAR I certainly can't call it my own line! I wish I could get a better eye pic, but my camera is out of commission at the moment. So that's the best I could do for now. I'll work on it. Thanks.

Stripe x Reverse Stripe is the way in which Ron Tremper created his first RAPTOR I believe and around the same time A&M Geckos produced their first RAPTOR from a Red Stripe x Reverse Stripe. (all back in the day)

Bell hatchlings have pretty red eyes even without Eclipse being present. And, I'm afraid that pictures a little too grainy to tell. What you could look for is a patch, right up front on the tip of the nose, that's absent of any pigment (completely pink, not orange). That could be another clue if it's a visual eclipse.

Nice Striped Bell either way! :main_thumbsup:

Thanks. Yes it does not appear to have the white around the nose and arms like most eclipses. The more I dig, the more I think I don't have any reason to jump to the eclipse conclusion yet. I guess time will tell (what's new!?). I will certainly keep everyone updated. But yes, regardless. I think it will certainly make for a beautiful striped Bell regardless of all those other tiny details!

Alright. You guys forced me to get a new camera. Though the picture is still not great, you can at least make out the eyes now. Looks like no RADAR for me :( I still really dig this gecko though.

Great picture! What kind of new camera?
That is a very, very nice BSB! I'm slightly jealous, I have all these stripey bell hets hanging around, and all these eggs, and no BSBs popping out yet!

Thanks everybody! Yes this baby might just be a holdback. We'll have to see how it turns out, but her genetics go back to Ryan at Retribution Reptiles. It does have a het Bell sibling that might go up for sale later this year though! I got a new Canon T2i. I am very pleased with it. My purchase is not as rash as it seems though. I have messed around with photography for some time now, but my old original Digital Rebel just died last year. I was due for a replacement. Besides I'm gonna need it to post some of my babies up for sale this year. Glad yall like the pic. Hopefully I can improve over time.
