This is my first reptile ever, i bought him as a mack snow from some little girl when he was a week old, and he was obviously not a mack snow but i bought him as a pet so i didnt knew this..
he's a high yellow 66% poss het m.patternless (parents are both mack snow het m.patternless), now over 3 years old, not breeding him cause he's not what im aiming for in my gecko colony, but he's pretty huge, over 80 grams and pretty sweet little guy :)

At 3 years old he is very young! In captivity with proper husbandry they can live ten times that age! Very pretty leo =) Do you have pictures of him as a baby?

Actually, if both his parents were Mack Snow (and neither were super snows) then 1/2 will be Mack Snow, 1/4 will be Super Snow, and 1/4 will be normal, on average. Mack Snow x Mack Snow does not equal all Mack Snow babies.

Three is old? :stunned:

I have a blue tongued skink lizard that is at least 16 years old, maybe more.

Yup. The only way to get 100% macks is SS to a Mack

Ahh ok! For some reason I was thinking that Mack Snows were dominant.

And yes, 3 is VERY young... especially for a captive bred Male. Males can also breed a lot longer than Females.

They are? Not anymore from what I can see. All I want is a normal or high yellow female baby. Seems impossible to find now. It's all about the morphs.

I have one for sale, Lisa. Two actually. They have some orange hue but papa is a high yellow and they're taking after him

Yeah, macks none the less. Hahaha. I guess I meant that to not get normals, you have to have a SS in the equation
