I've had "her" since July and she hasn't molted once yet, but never off food yet. Handful of crickets every 1 1/2 -2 weeks.

Pics right after I got her - one with flash once without.

man thats one scary tarantula..i personally do not enjoy them as pets but still pretty cool to have around!!

his her bite deadly?

I guess unless you're allergic, the rosies aren't too poisonous. She's not bit me yet. Those dern urticating hairs are worse. They throw them when agitated and she's gotten me twice. They itch and work their way into your skin. I get little blisters from them.

She's my first. I had a pink toe too, but it quit eating on me and died.

Hi

You could try using parcel tape - stick on your skin where it itches and pull of do several time rinse skin with water and try again with the tape, keep repeating until itching releaves for a bit. If you dont already you could use latex gloves for tank maintainance, it saves my skin alot.
