Paper towel, newspaper, carpet or tile Anything loose means risking impaction.

its not rough sand ,its really fine but still its a risk

Yeah, in my opinion, it's not worth it to risk it with any sand. Slate tile looks really good. I use carpet and paper towel though.

Regular carpet, to be totally honest, though repti carpet works well also. Most people use repti-carpet. I just vacuum it to clean it, it's really handy.
