My gecko is jumpy...

This is neo...a few days ago while I was cleaning his cage, his humid hide fell on him(which you can see in the background) by accident. Since then he's been a little jumpy towards me. Anyone have any advice(other than be more careful ;))or been throught the same thing?

That happened to meet the other day i dropped a small block of polystrene on top of my gecko while trying to get it out of a box. Hey jumped and had his back arched really high with his tail high in the air, I thought he was gonna drop his tail :eek: Now here kind of jumpy so i havent handled him much. Best bet maybe to leave him a day or so then start handling him and let him get used to you again and trust u :)

I'd say just handle him more often he will probably be a bit jumpy in the beginning but the more you handle him and nothing "bad" happens to him (by bad I mean like things falling on him, being restrained or dropped.) The more he will associate handling more positively. positive for him would be not being jumpy or flighty.
