Edit 1-9-11: I was basically told there was nothing to be done about my poor leo. My dear girl has passed away. </3

Edit: I talked to a vet. She said that she has lost a lizard this way. She believes she has impaction from being on the sand not long ago, and said that once they stop eating, it's really hard to get them eating again. Apparently, there's nothing I can do. :/ At least I have learned a lesson... HUzzah for experience. I'm so sad.

I have a two and a half year old female leopard gecko. I recently noticed that she has lost a ton of weight. Her tail is now very thin, and I can see her spine and hips. She used to be a fat little one... I have not seen her eat, and her mealworms just stay in the bowl. She will not eat crickets. I have tried hand feeding her, but she will not eat. Before this, though, I had noticed that her eyes were inflamed, so I continually wash them out with sterile saline, but I have not noticed much of a difference. What is happening to her? I'm extremely worried, but she is acting fine...

She used to look like:

She is no longer on sand, as I heard it was bad.

Now she's:
