my goofy gecko

Bella has now decided she likes burrowing under the paper towels instead of the 3 hides she has. I keep taking her out because im worried she gets too hot being right on the uth (although she is always on the other side) anyone else have a gecko that likes going under the substrate?

ETA: the hot side of her tank is 93-94 and the cool side is room temp at 82

one of my gecko's likes to hide under the paper towel, but she usually comes out right away on her own.

yes my male wil do that every time i just get done cleaning the tank..and sometimes the paper towels will get in the water dish and soak up the water ...he trying to tell me whos boss.
