guys i need your advice regarding my engimas. got 3 hatchling enigmas, two of em ate already but i handfed them. i let them lick the gut of the mealworms and they both ate 4 mealworms. the other one wont bite the mealworm . my question is whats better to do, to let them eat by themselves or handfeed them? if i handfeed them do you think in time they'll eventually eat by themselves? is this usual for a hatchling or its an enigma problem?

when did the hatchlings hatch? they dont usually eat until after there first shed. I just put some mealies in a glass bowl and left them for the babies and they ate.

Keep trying to hand feed it and see what happens. I have had a couple small hatchlings (non enigmas) not eat for two weeks. At that point, I make some slurry and feed them that. After a few days, they usually start eating the worms on their own.

have you tried micro crickets.some geckos simply dont like worms and will only go for the more mobile kind of live food.

havent tried yet just afraid of giving other feeders aside from mealworms cause they might be picky eaters. wanna give purely mealworm diet
