His look is very different than most hypos I see. I don't know a lot about boa morphs, so I was wondering if some one could help me out? Are a hypo and a salmon the same? Or are they seperate "strains" of hypo, such as Bell and Tremper albinos in leos? I'm looking for a female, with the intention of breeding for super hypos, I just want to make sure I get the right type.

He is a very clean hypo. I would not be to worried about mixing him with any hypo you pick up unless his lineage was something other then Colombian. Salmon is a perfected form of the hypo boa. He looks pretty good to me in the pic, and as far as I can tell he will develop a little more color to him with age. I like his bow tie pattern very much so. I have one that is similar to that one. Here is a pic of him when I first got him.

and I will post some pics of him now later on today. He has lightened up a whole lot. I am also going to post a pic of another adult red hypo male I have to show some variabililty. Just look for a post called hypo pics. Hope this helps. If you need any other info. Please feel free to PM me.

Here's another picture of him in sunlight. He still hasn't fully digested his last rat yet in the pic.
