My leo demonstrating her shyness

Ever since I built my gecko her underground burrow she has fallen into deep love with it, to the point where if she hears the slightest noise she will bolt full speed in to it. She used to not get scared if I would walk up to the cage but now she will just sit at night with her head poking out and if I walk in the room she will go in reverse back into darkness at the speed of light. I'm guessing its so dark and quiet down in there that she feels very secure.

After I finished feeding her last night I decided to film her antics on my phone. I made no noise at all, as you can see from the video she just gets very happy when she sees that burrow entrance

I think she meant the plastic(?) gecko in the last picture. LOL! At first, I thought it was novelty pen or something myself, but I don't see the tip where the ink comes out, so I thought it was a toy.


And, yeah, Melissa... it does look like Morse Code. LOL!

Lol I may think twice about building a cool underground cave. I don't want my beauty hiding from me. I just got this guiness clock with a white neon light and for some reason she loves it and is poking around in the open climbing on stuff alot. That pen or toy or whatever confused me for a split second. Lol. That gecko looks so cool with the dots down the back.

Yeah think twice , she may be having fun imagining i'm a real predator coming to get her lol. That little toy thing was like a dollar at michaels crafts so I picked it up and my gf painted it like the real gecko.
