Ok so I was letting Ozy walk around on my hands and I decided to get under the light so I could take a pic of him and he jumped off my hand and landed on a pizza box on the floor. Then a mad 30 second scramble between him and I ensued. I managed to get him cupped in my hands and went to put him back in his cage and he jumped, did like a cartwheel of his moist hide and landed in the cage... This was this morning around 3AM. However, he does not appear to have injured himself?? He's been walking around, belly off the ground like normal, his stomach doesn't look weird or bruised or anything, he ate a couple of large crickets and some mealworms.. Is it possible that he jumped from like 4 feet in the air and DIDN'T hurt himself?!?!

they are surprisingly hardy, just be more careful. injuries arnt the only thing you have to worry about when dropping them, the can become fearful of you and leaving the cage.
My mum dropped one of my males when he was only a few months old (he landed on his back on a coffee table) the is so scared of her he runs and hides when ever he see her and now i have a really hard job getting him out and hes 5 now.
He panics and jumps around ect to escape me so i have to really hold onto him then quickly put him in something.

Yea, from now on I'm just not going to try to pick him up. He obviously doesn't like to be handled, so I'm not going to force it on him. I'm just going to leave him alone for a couple of weeks (other than feeding, cage cleaning, etc.) then VERY slowly start to try to tame him. Gonna start by just putting my hand near him for a few minutes a couple of times a day and see how it goes from there. I just got home from work and he had a poo on top of his moist hide (his usual spot) and it didn't look weird or bloody or anything. I'm just glad he's ok! I was SO worried!!! Still gonna keep a close eye on him, but I think if he was injured I would know it by now since it's been more than 24 hours.

I hear you on that my gecko has falling from a 4foot height computer desk to solid oak floor. Mine is still a juve' and as a juve' their wreck-less if you forget about them for a sec. but from what i've noticed their strong and get up fearless, they don't bruise easily thank God. The first time he fell i literally panic then he fell another time interesting enough when he takes his leap he lands on his feet. Then when he lands he'll look around puts his belly up and just keeps roaming around. i have visually inspected him for signs of injury after giving him a warm bath but like i said their strong. Hes always eating fine chases his food with agility. Defecates and pees just the way it should. As time goes by he's being a lot wiser with height. As for handling my gecko it still loves being handled and enjoys being pet right above his head/neck. I still dont dare to leave him unattended out his cage but i am aiming on having my gecko to be a free roamer in my room. im still adjusting my room for this set-up clearing up the floors and keeping the corners in my room free and easy access. im doing this with my gecko simply because i feel hes a good pet like that. When im home hes on my shoulders, hand on my bed or computer desk by the screen. He's awesome, ive noticed their smart but fearless at the same time. Dont worry tooo much about his fall im sure hes fine right now as i speak =)

My juvenile runs off my hand all the time!! Luckily they really are hardy and I think he's starting to learn his lesson cause he does it less. He seems fine with handling though.

He's not acting hurt AT ALL. He just had some mealworms and now he's all sprawled out under his rock on the hot side like.. Ahhhhh

I wouldn't be too sure about that, just to be on the safe side I suggest to get the little guy checked out. He could possibly have some internal damage, but then again Leopard Gecko's are tough animals. Better safe than sorry.

He's ok. He has a VERY healthy appetite and is extremely active and alert, bright eyes, nice, solid log poos with clear white urate. I kept a VERY close eye on him for even the tiniest sign that he MIGHT not be ok and he never showed any sign of being injured.
