my leo needs help

my leo, tyke, hasn't used the bathroom since last friday, 6 days ago! he hasn't shed in about 5 weeks, soon to be 6. he gets fed 3 times a week, a dozen crickets each time. i put calcium on them. he wont eat mealworms or superworms or wax worms. he's eating the crickets though, i've watched him and hand fed him a couple times. i keep his aquarium at with the proper heating and cooling, fresh water every day. he's been more irritable lately though. he's acted like biting the past few days. i dont know whats wrong and i was hoping someone could help

well the shedding could be a problem with humidity. does he have a humid hide?

Have you checked every inch of the enclosure for poop? Any chance he decided to change the toilet spot? Is he well hydrated? If you think he is constipated, you can give him a warm bath (only very slightly warm) and gently massage his belly (or make him climb).

With regard to shedding, sometimes they do it really quick overnight and you may have just missed the moment. I don't see my geckos shed everytime, sometimes I don't even notice the pre-shed dulling!

well i have checked every possible place for his poo. no where. he's on reptile carpet so unless he's eating it after he goes (ewwww) i dont think he has. he has a humid hide-i spritz it every day. i'm going to try the warm bath. thank you VERY MUCH you guys!!!

You can also try to give him some olive oil. It worked for Stripes.

how do i give it to him?
cuz he still hasnt used the bathroom and its been 9 days..
im really worried about my lil guy

I think its mineral oil, but I have never tried this method, so can't help in this area.

white mineral oil or olive oil can work... I've had to do it before and I just put a drop on my finger and let them lick it off or wipe it on their mouth until they lick it off themselves.
