Hi i have a year old leo male, he is very active and healthy and is healthy weight, i feed him 3-5 dusted crickets anight, lately he had two small air pockets behind his arms, so i read up and they said it could be fat or calcium deposits, well since hes not over weight i figured they were cal deposits, so ive only been dusting the crickets once a week and now there almost gone, so is that what they were calcium deposits?

i have noticed that on my geckos too, it just seems to be a baggy bit of skin behind their arms but as all of mine have it i was not worried.

My geckos get that behind their arms and then it goes away without me changing anything. I wouldn't worry about it.

If you cut down the calcium and the bubbles disappeared, then yes, they are excessive calcium storage.

yes its definately calcium. In 25 yrs of raising leos most of mine have had the bubbles. In my experience even if u still give calcium daily and they continue having the bubbles it hasnt or wont harm the leos.
