My leo`s tail is fat

My gecko's tail is too fat. His tail is much larger than this neck and he seems to not be using the nutrition to grow . Is this really a problem if he keeps growing? If so how might I fix it?
Young leopard gecko
Eats everyday
Feeding on crickets, meal worms(meal worms as treat due to fat content) and phoenix worms

That looks like a healthy leopard gecko to me. A fat tail (within reason) is a good thing. =) Why do you think he isn't growing? Do you know how old he is?
