My leopard gecko has turned pale, how long until he sheds?

I got a baby leopard gecko last Saturday (29/11/14) and today (3/12/14) he turned paler than usual. I think he is about 3 weeks old. I have heard that this could mean he will shed his skin but I haven't got what he needs or checked the temperature. I can get what he needs over the weekend but do not know whether he will have shed by then or not! Please help!

Geckos tend to get a bit grayer as they approach shedding time. One or two days before they shed, they look /very/ pale, almost like a ghost.

You can make a quick humid hide to help with shedding by cutting an entrance in a tupperware container some other container witha lid and then folding up some paper towel for inside. Keep the paper towel damp, and that will provide a place to help him shed.
