my little friend!!

this little guy lives in my bathroom and has been there since he was an hatchling. He/she is not bothered by us and of course we love having him/her but I was wondering what she is? Im thinking some type of house gecko but was not sure.

I thought so but was not sure. he has lived in my bathroom for about 6 months now. I see him every night hanging out and he will slip in and out of a small hole in our screen on the window but every night with out fail he returns.

well, not to nit pick too much, but house gecko could really mean anything. that said he doesnt look anything like the house geckos in phoenix, which are mediterranean geckos.

i think your little guy looks like a hemidactylus garnotii, but with reduced spotting.

looks like the Asian house gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) i have seen a number of variations in this species, the most common being a pale blotchy grey coloration and spiny tail.
