this is because a couple people have asked how i do it. this is what i do for all eggs. gecko eggs, and python eggs

these are the containers i use

the arrow is pointing to a hole where i thread the probe for the thermostat.

i use pearlight, and i fill it with water till it begins to float

i place ceiling light grids ontop of the pearlight.

the probe is threaded throught the hole, and placed in the center of the container.

finally placed in the incubator.

Do the eggs go under the grids or on them? Not that I think the grids are bad, but what are they used for? To keep the eggs in place?

Great guide BTW!

the eggs go ontop of the grid, and its too keep the eggs out of the water as edgar said. and all the water enables the high humidity with out making the eggs soaked

Nevin, do you bother measuring out how much water to add? You mentioned that you just pour water until the perlite floats. Doesn't sound very precise, but then the eggs aren't touching any of the perlite either. I'm confused and very interested.
