my new adopted gecko

I adopted this leo last night I am not sure what morph he is . He is kinda stand offish the preivous owner hasnt held him in over 8 mounths so he doesnt like to be held . I am going to let him get settled in for a few weeks befor I try to tame him .He also hasnt ever had a moist hide ,needles to say he wasnt taken care of well .Here are some pics and his temp set up

Unfortunately I'm not so good at morph, so can't help you.

Glad you saved him. Is that shed on his front and back toes? It's hard to tell if it's just the color of the toes. My male was the same. Guy had 1 hide, barely dusted anything, never took feeders out. My males front toes are all short from shed skin that was never removed for 2 years he kept him like that. Good luck, any questions and or concerns let us know. Nice looking Leo to say the least, I would have adopted him too.

ya its shed skin ,when i got him last night his head was coverd in shed skin he couldnt even open one of his eyes but I helped him get it off

Did you soak the Leo yet? I would recommend it so he's not in pain and you can save toes. Just get a little bin, put paper towels down and fill it up just enough to cover his feet with warm water. Not hot water, and give him a little soak. He may not like it, but you would be helping him out. Since his husbandry and supplimentation will be better, I'm sure you will see some of the shed issues fade or go away completely after a little. I was really upset with the guy I got my male from, cause you could tell he just didn't care about it. Glad your giving this Leo a chance at a good life.

Show us pics of the tank once you get everything in place and he has settled. I'm guessing since you just got him last night, you have some things you still want to get/ put in there. Are you going to use that foam background you made for this Leo? That was looking pretty good.
