This is the current setup I have.. I switched him to this very bare setup because there were thousands of tiny crickets in the walnut substrate he came on. And it was pretty damp.
Looks like a handsome SHTCTB (Super hypo tangerine carrot tail baldy). Congrats on your new lil guy. Also, crickets in the bedding or not, I would've gotten rid of the walnut shell to begin with.
I had planned on it - when I started to move the bedding out it exploded with tiny baby crickets (and some other bugs, probably from the dampness). I cannot imagine he was very happy being walked on constantly. And his sphagnum moss box was white an icky. Blech.
That's what I thought he was - but, I've only been researching the morphs and care for about two weeks, since the owner asked if I could take him. So I figured I ought to ask.
