Sally is THE dragon of my dreams
I have been keeping bearded dragons for around 10 years now
I have let a few breed and raised some of the babies and sold the rest locally but mostly I have kept them as pets
I have wanted a dragon of "high color" ever since the SandFire Ranch came out with their first red dragons but I didn't really have the money to spend-esp. with my growing interest in the different morphs of leos-LOL
Until recently- it was very hard to find a really nice dragon for under $350.00
At least I didn't see any-after a while I just stopped looking
When i was at NARBC in Tinley this year I brought home 2 normal beardie babies because I just could not pass them by
It has been quite a few years since i have had itty bitty ones around and they were very small when I brought them home
Anyway-one thing led to another as it usually does with reptiles and I found Sally in the want ads somewhere-lol
I don't even remember where now
I e-mailed Sara-her breeder and unfortunately I could not swing the amount that she needed to get for her at the time
Around a month later or maybe even less-I got a wonderful email from Sara saying that she really felt that i would give Sally a great home and to make her an offer
The rest is history and I just love her
I can't pass by her enclosure without stopping and talking to her
OMG she is such eye candy and truly the dragon of my dreams
Thank you so very much Sara
Here are some pics of her
fuzzy pic-but look at the color of that beard at 4 months old!!
As I mentioned in Harolds post-I have a male being shipped out to me next Tuesday and I think that he will be the perfect future mate for Sally
He is the one on the right and is even younger than Sally so he may develop as beautiful of a color as she has-from the pics of his parents-he sure looks promosing
