My New girl Samantha (Sam)

I just got her today, I was told she is a Mack Snow Leopard.

Her color seems a bit dark to me though to be a snow, maybe someone can help me with this...

At what age will her colors go lighter and will she turn white and black like she is supposed to?

And an age guess would be great....lol The guy said she is most likely about 4 or 5 months but he wasn't positive.

Ok so does that mean that her colors now are gonna stay the way they are? I was told she would lighten up.

I jsut found a pic online that looks exactly like her.

Could she be a co-dom snow het raptor?

Mack Snow is the same as Co-dom Snow :main_yes: She does look dark and should lighten up.. when they don't get much heat, they tend to be darker.. so once she warms up in her new home, she should lighten up more.. but any yellow she has on her is permanent.

If she is het. RAPTOR, you would only know for sure by breeding her since carrying a het. isn't really something you can see visually (most of the time anyway).

Thanks Fallen....lol I was so desperate to get an albino or super snow, all white...lol but they only had her and normals left...lol and she was too cute to pass up. I hope she lightens up nicely, the tank is 90F so hopefully soon I can post some nice lighter color pics...lol

Thanks Ariana, all I saw was mack snow on the lable and prayed there was one left and it was female...lol and I got my wish. She is a beauty. Next though will be the albino I want....lol that was my goal till I saw Sam...lol

How do I raise the temp more? I have a UTH and an over tank lamp at 100watts.
