Just picked her up today. Hatched out last year late spring. Weighs 30.3g and is a beauty. She was sold as het for raptor. Now for some pics and questions. I bought some repashy calcium but somehow lost it in transit but was wondering what others use. I know its a loaded question but just Lmk what YOU use. Also as far as vitimins go some people say use them and others don't again if u do just tell me. What is the best way to check the slate temp? I bought a non contact temp gauge but it has a +- of 4 degrees so what temp should I shoot for? Thanks and if you have a favorite online vendor you deal with for mealies and supplies I'm all ears. I'll be checking the sponsor sites soon. Thanks and I'm excited to be back!

Thanks guys! To my surprise I tossed a few mealies in and she ate them. I figured she wouldn't touch them so that's a good sign. Now I just need to order some repashy calcium plus and some gutload. Also the temp gauge says 90 but doesn't feel that warm to the touch. Is that normal? It just doeant feel warm enough but then again its hard to tell by touching it with my hands

Yup our skin temperature is around 90 degrees, so you wouldn't feel the tile being hot if it's supposed to be at 90.

Very nice looking gecko by the way, and cool setup :) Only thing I can suggest is that they can be shy, so if you add in a fake plant or two for shades, it'll make them feel better & more secure. Also don't forget a moist hide to aid with shedding. They love a warm moist hide.

Thanks mardy. When I thunk of 90 I think of a hot summer day in Chicago but that's air temp not surface temp. Whoops. LOL. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Still feels like its missing something though.

She loves her humid hide! It was sold as a female and as of right now I'm going by what the breeder sold her to me as. Also right now I have only one so I really don't care about the sex. Lemon drop got her name from my 3yr old son so I don't think that will change regardless of the sex. Lol.
