My new Hypo CT, but it looks weird...

I just acquired this beautiful boy today (by chance). He has an amazing pattern to me, but it looks strange. He doesn't look tangerine, more like...sand. He has a great CT, if it would be considered that because of the lack of carrot. Also, his feet are spotted, which I thought was interesting.
Of course he isn't as hefty as I like them, but give it time, he'll be nice and fat. :D:D
Can anyone help me out here?

LACK? of carrot id say hes..75-80% Nice carrot tail! Tangerines can vary in color, sometimes they "brown out" due to stress and poor husbandry. sometimes the brilliant colors will come back sometimes they do not.

Haha! he's a sandy yellow though! :) I think he's a strange color, hopefully I can get him to get his colors out, I think he's a wonderful find either way... :D Is he considered a HTCT? Even though he's yellow/sandy?

I think that, by definition, that's a Super Hypo. Definitely carrot-tail too. And I'd also say it was more Tang at one point, but that's changed either due to age or low ambient temps.

Most likely it's accurate to use the Acronym SHTCT with this one. :main_yes:

ooo!! Really? Even with spots on his head and feet? The ones on his head look weird though. He's great!

Yeah, really. :main_laugh: But do note, SHTCT minus the "B" which stands for Baldy. If it were a Baldy, it wouldn't have any head spotting. I can't see any spotting on the feet in your pictures, which leads me to believe it's pretty minor.
