Maybe you could help me out with the Age, Morph (if it is one), Sex, anything is appreciated.

It still has bands so it's young. You have to check the genitals to find out sex. I wait six months to determine sex. Get it checked out before your return policy runs out.

I will get him checked out becuase i realized that if those worms were moist then they were fresh.... Im kind of worried. Also do you know what morph it is? I think its normal because i got him at petco but it has that y shape on its head and none of the others had that so i got him cuz he was unique, so i hope hes not sick i really love him

He is probably a normal, or a high yellow normal. Could possibly be a super hypo tangerine, but it is hard for me to tell. Leo genetics have gotten crazy.

I don't play with anything besides albino. Petco gets a mix of all kinds. Most are mass incubated for male because it is a move-along retail. Males incubate faster which equals more production.

Save up about a thousand dollars for incubation and hatchling expenses.

We already bought an incubator, 20 tubs from dollar general, were breeding the crickets we have right now and we have plenty of paper towels and lights, I think we'll be good... At least for the first generation

a issue you will have is breeding unknown with unknown so the odds of you selling any baby for 15-20 are slim.

along with tubs you need heat, a rack, hides and everything else.

i strongly suggest you get everything ready before and dont breed petstore geckos.

and if your LUCKY you might break even. you are HIGHLY unlikey to make any money.

you will likely loose money.

and please do plenty of research before you even attempt

Haha yea I'll take all ur advice, were not trying to sell any of them. They are our pets, why deos everyone always want money out of something. Out of all the eggs I'm sure we will only hatch 9-10, if we get someone who wants some well consider selling but I doubt it. We know unknown+unkonwn =crazy unknown that you can't really sell too well but that's part of our project. Everyone here seems so caught up in making thenmorphs that are already there and being like everyone else. Who knows we may get ordinary geckos, if we do big deal we love them the same. Either way at least were not breeding geckos with known defects (enigmas).and as for research, I have a stepbrother that has a breeding bussiness for these geckos and I have read all the articles I can. So thanks

Breeding leopard geckos is serious business, you need to have a much better firm understanding before attempting to breed and raise babies, but then again everyone has to start somewhere. More than likely you are probably going to waste a lot of money trying to guess on the sex of baby petstore geckos. You may end up getting 20 of one sex before eventually getting the opposite who knows? Your best bet is to order a guaranteed male and female.

We'll have 6 total 2 males 4 females, and to sex a gecko you wait till they are older and look at their genital area and check for pores and the little lumps between their tail and body. The reason I couldn't sex my gecko is because I didn't realize they needed to be older to tell. So.... What else you got?

I appreciate you for not making me think I'm stupid. That is a great point and if it happens this way I will definately get one from a online site. Were starting small and we have alot of money saved up for summer an this is what our summer project is gonna be this year. If it. Gets overwhelming I always havey stepbrother to turn too. He loves all geckos and is like my gecko encyclopedia haha

I think I'll save the rant to be honest. All i can say is, your gecko needs to grow before it can be bred (which im sure you know) so in that time while it is growing, don't ever stop reading about gecko's and then maybe, MAYBE you will have a good enough understanding of genetics, morphs, husbandry, care, illness, housing, risks and everything else to breed.

So you have baby geckos now and you're planning to breed them by the summer? They have to breed when they're in season, (spring) unless they are ovulating. Do you know how to check for ovulation? otherwise, your geckos will just fight, not breed. The babies will not be old enough to make them your summer project. If you really want to do it over the summer you will need to get adult geckos, preferably ones with breeding experience. Im sorry this just doesn't add up to me.
