My new baby- Pineapple. I got him/her from a certain chain store. Can someone tell me what morph this is? It was just sold as a special color, as opposed to a regular. My 3 year old niece picked the name. Since she didn't name it something completely silly, Pineapple it is.

Ha, Pineapple! Too cute...

She appears to be an albino. Also looks like she could use some good, steady meals, so make certain you offer her food often for a while, even every day if she'll eat. Prepare any insects by feeding healthy vegetables/fruits for at least a day and dust with good calcium/vitamin supplements. Hopefully, her tail will start plumping up when she gets some one-on-one care. :)

I'm leaving mealworms in all the time right now. He/she did eat some and has pooped a few times. There were also some regurgitated, I think because I had my warm spot too hot, and Pineapple was hanging out nearly constantly in the humid hide. I've got a dimmer on it now, so that's fixed.

Sometimes babies overeat and regurgitate once before they learn their stomach capacity. If it only happened once it's no cause for concern but if it happens again or on a regular basis I would have him checked for parasites and/or crypto. Cute little guy! Definitely looks albino to me too and possibly snow. You sound like you did your homework and he has a great owner!!

There were 2 regurgs, both while I was messing around getting the temp right. There's been poop since then, so hopefully it's all straightened out now. I picked up some waxworms in addition to the mealworms, just for a little extra fat. I only just offered those a few hours ago, but they haven't been touched yet. In store they were feeding crickets, which I'm hoping to avoid having to keep, though she's eaten some worms with me. If they were eating crickets and chasing them down, I'm sure Pineapple isn't used to readily available food just sitting there in a dish.
I'm shocked allowing a 3 year old to pick the name didn't result in Queen Elsa or a My Little Pony name. I'm quite happy with Pineapple as the choice. It's a nice fit for the color. Not sure I would have done much better myself.
