Some of you may not know this but my hatchling (profile pic) was euthanized on Friday of last week due to cryptosporidiosis contraction from his/her parents. On Sunday, I purchased a new leopard gecko (yet to be named). This one is a juvenile, however, it's tail, skin, and belly seems to be much healthier and I am confident I can give this little fellow a decent life!

I'm sorry that your first gecko experience wasn't a good one. Good luck with this guy!

If you are able, you might just want to start out with a vet exam and parasite test for peace of mind? But he definitely appears to be in much better condition. Get him some good food with supplements, and I'm sure he'll start to fill out. :)

Also, looks like he should shed soon. Love to see another picture afterward.
