My new little rescue

Hey everyone, I posted this on some on another forum but wnated to share with you all too.

I went up to petco last night to get some crickets (which they were out of) and I noticed that there were some tanks on the adoption table so i stopped to look. There was a teeeny little ball python in one of them. So i asked about her ( assuming female until I have her sexed) and they said she was free if I wanted to take her. So I asked my incredibly awesome husband and he said "well go get her before someone else does" I went back inside and said I would take her.
Heres her story, Apparently some guy bought her the week prior and decided he didn't want her anymore. So the guy rides across town on a Bicycle in 32 degree weather with her one the back in a pillow case. The poor thing was limp and almost frozen when she got there, they had a heat lamp on her but she was still really cold when I picked her up. I didn't think she was going to make it through the night. Well now she is sitting under one of her many new hides and plants in her balming 89 degree tank. She became active and started drinking water late last night. Exploring her tank. So I think she will be okay, I am going to give her a while to settle in then attempt a feeding. She isn't really skinny so she should be fine. Her overall appearance is great though, her nose and eyes are clear, her skin is smooth and firm to her body. So once she is settle I will get her checked by my vet. She is so nippy she strikes at everything, I can't blame her though. She makes my male adult Bp look like a monster.
Here she is

Thanks, and just a little update. She did eat one f/t mouse the other day. She didn't give me any troubles eating either.
