the wife has been telling me "NO" for a long time about a sav, but i finally talked her into it. a local customer of mine who has purchased geckos before from me offered this girl in trade for a pair of leos. i coudn't resist and after a couple of hours of begging, the wife caved. she is about 18" long right now and as you can see she's in shed. she's a little skittish right now, but i think she's just stressed.

PS...did you say HOURS of begging? Are you sure she didn't just fall asleep, and you took her not saying no anymore as a yes? Boy she's gonna be in for a big surprise when she wakes up

haha, yeah all of my reptiles are upstairs. im lucky enough to have a very large house with lots of room. my reptiles pretty much have an entire bedroom and part of a gameroom. as for the begging, if i counted up all the hours spent trying to convince her about a sav, it would probably equal up to several days or even weeks, lol. i think i actually annoyed her into saying yes, and she even tried to take it back today. it was already too late though. note to women, if you say "yes" to your man and mean "no", don't get pissed when we take it and run. oh and tell hoarders to bring it. i might be able to show them what the difference is between a hoarder and a breeder/hobbyist

Yea, your house is nice, and you have a nice neighborhood too I do too, but my upstairs rooms are taken up by kids! Lol. So I have a small reptile room in my finished basement. Maybe you can enlighten my husband on the hoarder thing...he said I really have to stop buying geckos, b/c I'm becoming a hoarder, lol. But they are ALL spoiled rotten, well fed, clean and very well cared for THAT'S the difference
