Today had been a little hectic went to pick up the hypo i posted before thinking it was a girl. So got it boxed up only to get back to the car and see she was a he. So went back over to the house explained i had brought it back
as agreed because she was a he. So he picked up another normal and boxed it up i took a peek to be sure and turns out that was a he aswell. so ended up with this pretty girl. Im sure she is a girl and am pretty sure she is gravid though i would like it confirmed for me. Never been so glad that i had brushed up on the gecko sexing before i went lol

Thing is this guy had 7 leos together 2 of them HUGE males and they all looked great. He says they have never been fighting or had any eggs. Why do you think that would be do you think ? the eggs i mean not the fighting ( i still cant beleive that they seem to be ok together but there was no mistaking it they were deff both male ) i would have thought given that there are atleast 2 males in there that there would have been quite a few eggs given how easy they are supposed to be to breed.

Anyways here she is with the best belly snap i could get. Its not great but i think you can still kind of see it

Beautiful girl ( dont know what she is so if you have any idea please do share lol

Thats what i thought. I couldnt beleive it when the second one he offered was also male ( and both were huge ) i thought the fighting would be pretty much straight away when they were introduced but he said the group have been together for years but the again he also said no eggs and im pretty sure the girl i got does indeed have eggs. Can anyone tell me how common geckos re absorbing eggs is ? Wondering if this could maybe be whats been going one here

Also JKL i think you may be the breeder i got Clyde from if so you might be interested to know that he is doing fantastic :D

I honestly think that dude might have been pulling your leg or not being completely forthcoming with everything but she is a beauty. Good luck with her. Can't wait to see more pix :)

Ok Thanks. she looks quite diff from the one i posted in the morphs section and thats why im not good with telling them. I assumed as she looks diff she was something else. The guy said high yellow but i didn't think so. High yellows are just normals with a brighter yellow yes ?

Generally that is what a high yellow looks like, whether or not it is just a "normal" with bright yellow I can't say. My morphology isn't that good.

Thank you but the more i see her the more i think she is too small. I have not weighed her yet but im pretty sure she is too small. Little worried she will have issues laying so fingers crossed for her.

as far as i know if the female dosnt feel 100% happy in her enviroment she wont lay the eggs. this could either be not enought laying places or more likely in this case because there were more than one male prehaps!? it has been known for them the reabsorb eggs in such cases but the same with many reptile this isnt so healthy and can cause real problems if done for a long time. poor baby :S

she looks fab though :main_thumbsup:

Thanks. I want to beleive that he was telling the truth because both he and his wife seemed like lovely people and ended up giving me one of the ones he said right from the start that they would not part with. There was no lay box because he thought they were all female and he didn't have a humid hide that she could have used. I read that sometimes they will use the water bowl but he had a little rocky fountain not a dish so even that option was out. Other than me thinking she may be a little too small still she seems in great health and still has all her toes. I got back in touch with the guy today to suggest he puts in lay boxs for the others as if one is there is surly a pretty good chance the others are aswell.

She has been hunting around alot since i got her home i dont think it will be too long until she lays. Thing is i have my incubator ordered but if it is not here on time i dont know what i will do. If i put the eggs in a container in the viv would this work until the incubator is delivered ?
