Baby Pepper is growing up! It's amazing how fast he's growing. :) His home has had a few additions, and my gecko is very good with handling now. :D I little reluctant to crawl on my hand, but once he's in my hand he's perfect. :D He's so cute! And I think that for $15 and a petco rescue, he's turning into a fine little guy. Or girl. I still don't know! :D

Congrats on how the rescue is turning out.

She/he should be able to be sexed, can you get a picture of her underbelly by the base of her tail for us?

Thank you geckogirl3! :D I agree 100%. :)
Nia2010 - Thank you! :) And really? I haven't looked in a couple weeks, but he's only 3 months old, can he be sexed that young? And that kind of picture might be a challenge. :p I'll try tomorrow morning. :)

He's a Petco rescue? Good for you for bringing that gecko into your life :) He looks like he is wonderfully cared for and I'm 100% sure he is happily living the dream compared to his previous conditions at Petco.

Thank you all so very much! :) I'm so glad he's healthy. :D When I got him he was surrounded by much bigger baby leopard geckos, and he was hiding behind the water dish, he was so scared! So when my dad said I could get a leopard gecko, I immediately wanted the poor tiny baby in the back. "Don't you want a bigger one? The little one could get hurt so easily!" "Nope, I need to get him out of there or he WILL get hurt." :D 2 months later, and voila! :) Oh, I got the pics for you guys, best I could do. Had to hold the gecko in one hand, try to get a pic in the other... oh well! I'll post them now.

Sorry about the horrible quality. 1) The angle was horrible, had to hold Pepper and bend my arm around to try to take a pic. 2) My camera was horrible. Polaroid i1035. Bleh! And 3) Pepper doesn't like being held that way very much. Oh well.
The last pictures are pics of Pepper on day 1. The first is him just after I put him in the tank, and the second was at the end of the day and a good meal.

Well I can't tell what Pepper is but looks like Pepper is doing just fine! Pepper looks amazing, congratulations! I'm half tempted to go get one from PetCo but I probably shouldn't at the moment. Dad would have a cow. Mom wouldn't care as long as I was the one paying for it, and not her.

Thank you! :D And IKR. My dad said I already have to many animals. 4 bettas and Pepper. But I want another one! And they're on sale again, $15! I'm paying for it, I have all the stuff! I wish I could get another one. If Merlin is the leo in your avatar, he's very gorgeous. Yesterday at petco they'd gotten in a bunch of leopard geckos older than the tiny babies they usually have. The babies were shoved under a bottom shelf where no one could see them, they were huddling together for warmth. :( I want to save one of them! But the bigger ones were gorgeous too, they had a gorgeous pink and yellow one with lots of spots I wanted, and a patternless, which I've never seen in person before. Oh well!

Awee and thanks! Merlin is a beauty, and yea I always get so sad when I see the leos in PetCo. They're always babies and shouldn't be on sand from what I've read! There's some that have had their tails drop, that are starting to grow back. There's this one that seems to be the bully of the group, or he's a loner, he's always by himself, not sure which is the case. I soooo wanna get one, and they aren't too bad of a price either, can't remember the exact price, but I knew it wasn't too expensive. My dad says the same thing, then again he's right, we have a TON of animals at home, lol. Five horses plus one boarding with us, so six total, three cats, a dog, fish in the pond, plus Merlin ^_^

Okay because the pictures are too bright, I'll help you through the computer and you tell us what you can see there. Your leo looks old enough to tell, I have two females that are probably around yours age that are able to be sexed, their girls.

But here is a picture of my 7 month old leopard gecko to give you an idea of what a female looks like.

Female have V shaped pores like males, however theirs have no dark color to them, they are sometimes vey hard to see. Plus they don't have buldges.

Here is a young male, not owned by me, but a person by the name c_franscioni on another forum, also note the buldges.

Hope that helps!

You are welcome! Yup, in my petco they are freezing cold, huddling together on sand. It's horrible! And they are sooooooo tiny. :( That is a lot of animals! :) Cool, you have horses! I am just a huge horse nut, love everything about them and I'm a good rider. :D I have 4 dogs, 2 cats, and then my pets Pepper and the 4 betta fish. Plus my bro has a bearded dragon. :D

Okay, mine has the bulges, you can see them in the pics, but I can't see the pores. :main_robin:But I guess mine is a boy? I always thought so. I wanted a girl, considering the only girl pet I have is a betta fish, and 2 dogs. The boys greatly outnumber! Thank you!
